Baseball Recap: College Prep Comes Up Short

College Prep lost against Head-Royce back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. College Prep came up short against Head-Royce, falling 11-1. The game marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

College Prep saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kobi Thomas, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

College Prep dropped their record down to 3-2 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Head-Royce, their record now sits at 4-2.

College Prep has already played their next matchup, a 12-5 defeat against St. Joseph Notre Dame on the 28th. As for Head-Royce, they will face off against San Leandro at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Head-Royce 3.3, San Leandro 2.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
