The home team had won the previous three meetings between Lindale and Whitehouse, and Lindale kept the tradition alive. The Eagles skirted past the Wildcats 47-45. The 47-point effort marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Lindale's record is now 8-1. As for Whitehouse, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
