            Softball Recap: Central Noble Cougars vs. Churubusco Eagles        
        
		
        
        
            Central Noble had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Churubusco Eagles by a score of  7-4  on Tuesday. The  victory was nothing new for the Cougars as they're now sitting on three straight.

 Grace Swank made a splash no matter where she played. She  struck out seven batters over  seven innings while giving up  four earned runs off   five  hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with one  home run and two  RBI.
 Swank wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Kierra Bolen, who  went 1-for-4 with two  runs.
Central Noble's record now sits at 22-5. As for Churubusco,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 17-10.
 Coming up, Central Noble will square off against Eastside at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Churubusco does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
