Cary Academy won the last time they faced St. Mary and things went their way on Monday too. The Chargers walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Saints. The win was some much needed relief for the Chargers as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

While Cary Academy might've won, it sure wasn't easy: St. Mary's scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 23-25, 26-24, 25-19.

Cary Academy's victory bumped their record up to 6-10. As for St. Mary's, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.

Cary Academy is taking a road trip to challenge Trinity Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Mary's, they will host New Life Camp at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
