TAPPS Division II District 2 recap September 24, 2013
Bishop Gorman led TAPPS Division II District 2 in scoring this week after putting up 53 points on All Saints Episcopal. Tristan Saint threw for 359 yards and 2 touchdowns and ran for 40 yards in the win.
Trinity Christian made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 6,940 from 7,039.
The Crusaders' Saint and Collin Parks have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-0 quarterback Saint has thrown for 1,099 yards this season, while Parks has 20 catches for 439 yards. Chandler Nutt from Grace Community leads the league in rushing with 471 yards.
The Cougars are currently in third, while Dallas Christian is in fourth.
Brook Hill suffered the largest drop in the standings this week, falling from fifth to seventh in the league. A 35-14 loss to Spring Hill last week preceded the drop.
