Volleyball Recap: Tewksbury Memorial Takes a Loss

Tewksbury Memorial lost against Lowell back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Redmen fell 3-1 to the Red Raiders.

Julianna Cappiello paced Tewksbury Memorial's offense, picking up 11 kills. Cappiello got some help from Leah Fisk and her 14 assists. Alison Furilla controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Tewksbury Memorial has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Lowell, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-7.

Tewksbury Memorial has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against North Andover on the 8th. As for Lowell, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Dracut on the 8th.
