Basketball Game Preview: Trinity Christian Warriors vs. Gilmer County Titans

The Trinity Christian Warriors will venture away from home to challenge the Gilmer County Titans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Saturday, Trinity Christian earned a 44-37 win over Magnolia.

Meanwhile, Gilmer County came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 77-35 victory over the Red Devils. The Titans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Gilmer County has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 35.2 points. As for Trinity Christian, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.

Trinity Christian was dealt a bruising 68-30 defeat at the hands of Gilmer County when the teams last played back in December of 2023. Can Trinity Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
