Basketball Recap: Centennial Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bakersfield Christian, Centennial was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Garces Memorial Rams by a score of 57-46. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 84-56 on January 9th.

Michael Gutierrez was his usual excellent self, going 7 of 17 on his way to 19 points. Another player making a difference was Brendan Keefer-Johns, who posted five points in addition to 12 boards and three blocks.

Centennial smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in 14 consecutive matchups.
