On Saturday Tristan Bennett pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits, which was good enough to set a new career-low in hits. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his fourth in a row with less than two walks. On the season, he has an ERA of 1.62 over 13 innings pitched.

Bennett's effort led Bayfield over Centauri and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Wolverines are a perfect 9-0 against the Falcons going back to May of 2021, a lead they'll look to extend.
