Baseball Recap: Unity Takes a Loss

The Unity Eagles lost 16-6 to the Barron Golden Bears on Monday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Isaish Fugate was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4. Brian Bantz also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Unity now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Barron, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Unity will host Shell Lake at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Barron, they will welcome Ashland at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
