Volleyball Recap: Griffin Comes Up Short

Griffin lost against Jonesboro back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Bears took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinals. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Griffin may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 11 points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-11.

Griffin's loss dropped their record down to 6-20. As for Jonesboro, their victory bumped their record up to 21-16.

Looking ahead, Griffin will square off against Spalding at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jonesboro does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
