Basketball Game Preview: Rosamond Roadrunners vs. Arvin Bears

The Rosamond Roadrunners will challenge the Arvin Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Friday, Rosamond was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 61-57 to Bishop Union. The Roadrunners have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Arvin, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 66-43 margin over Golden Valley on Friday. The Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 21 points or more this season.

Rosamond's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Arvin, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.

Rosamond couldn't quite finish off Arvin in their previous meeting back in December of 2022 and fell 53-50. Thankfully for Rosamond, Zachariah Look (who posted 22 points and three steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
