Basketball Recap: Prattville Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Prattville took on Tuscaloosa County on Tuesday. The Prattville Lions took a hard 92-76 fall against the Tuscaloosa County Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 313th, while the Wildcats are ranked 113th).

When it comes to explaining why Prattville lost, don't look at Xavier Dunn. Despite the final result, he went 13 of 26 en route to 34 points and five steals. The contest was Dunn's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tanner Ehmen, who posted seven points and six rebounds.

Prattville's defeat dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Tuscaloosa County, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Prattville will welcome Thompson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Tuscaloosa County, they will face off against Hillcrest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
