Baseball Recap: Mooresville Comes Up Short

After flying high against Mallard Creek last Tuesday, Mooresville came back down to earth. The Mooresville Blue Devils fell 7-3 to the West Rowan Falcons on Wednesday. The Blue Devils have struggled against the Falcons recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meetings.

Mooresville saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor Robertson, who scored a run while going 1-for-4.

Mooresville suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 3-2. As for West Rowan, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Mooresville has already played their next contest, a 15-5 defeat against Reagan on the 6th. As for West Rowan, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-2 victory against Robinson on the 7th.
