Football Recap: Butler County Takes a Loss

Butler County lost against Glasgow back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bears had to suffer through a 64-12 loss at the hands of the Scotties. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky football rankings (they are ranked 177th, while the Scotties are ranked 29th).

Butler County now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Glasgow, they pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Butler County and Glasgow will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Bears see the field they'll take on Hart County at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th. As for Glasgow, their break will end when they face Larue County at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th.
