Softball Recap: Lee Falls to Lenox Memorial in First Game of Season

Lee unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 6-0 to the Lenox Memorial Millionaires on Monday. Wildcats fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Millionaires since on Monday.

Lee saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brianna Lynch, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lee is headed away from home for the first time to take on Smith Vo-Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lenox Memorial, they will head out to challenge Drury at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
