Basketball Recap: Babcock Beats Mason Classical Academy for Their Fourth Straight Win

Babcock came tearing into Tuesday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24 points) and they left with even more momentum. They enjoyed a cozy 64-49 victory over the Mason Classical Academy Paladins. With that win, the Trailblazers brought their scoring average up to 50.4 points per game.

Leading Babcock to victory were Jameson Habing and Finn Habing. Jameson dropped a double-double on 20 points and 13 rebounds, while Finn posted 15 points along with eight assists and seven boards. Jameson's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Caleb Henley, who earned seven points.

Babcock smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in four consecutive games.

Babcock's record is now 7-9. As for Mason Classical Academy, their defeat was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-7.
