Bucklin had won 11 straight games and Emmy Kirk did her part to make it 12 on Saturday. The Bucklin Red Aces walked away with a 45-38 win over the Ingalls Bulldogs thanks in part to Kirk, who almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine steals. What's more, she also racked up eight rebounds, the most she's had since back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Ingalls had strong showings from Olivia Stein, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 13 boards, and Jennasey Stoudemire, who posted 12 points and seven rebounds. Stein is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down ten or more in the last seven games she's played.

Bucklin's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.4 points over those games. As for Ingalls, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-7 record this season.

Bucklin wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 58-30 win against Ashland on the 11th. As for Ingalls, they have also already played their next contest, a 41-28 defeat against Spearville on the 11th.
