Marquette Catholic's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They put the hurt on the Michigan City Wolves with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Blazers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

While Marquette Catholic might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Michigan City scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-22, 25-19.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-3. As for Michigan City, their defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Marquette Catholic will host DeMotte Christian at 6:30 p.m. on September 2. As for Michigan City, they will face off against Portage at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The match will give the Wolves their first taste of in-conference action this season.
