Basketball Game Preview: Porter Spartans vs. Crosby Cougars

Porter is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Crosby is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Porter Spartans will welcome the Crosby Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Porter will head into Friday's contest hoping to keep the good times rolling: they had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 27-point drubbing they dealt Pasadena on Friday. Porter took their game with ease, bagging a 45-18 win over Pasadena. Given the Spartans' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 579th, while the Eagles are ranked 1192nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Crosby beat Dayton 52-43 on Friday.

Crosby's victory bumped their record up to 13-14. As for Porter, their win bumped their record up to 12-13.
