Saguaro entered their tilt with Marcos de Niza on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Padres. The Sabercats not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 22nd (when they won 3-0).

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Saguaro took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-15, 25-15.

Leading Saguaro to victory were Amelia Scheidt and Addison Schulz. Scheidt had eight digs and three aces, while Schulz had three aces. That's the most aces Scheidt has posted since back in September.

They weren't the only good servers: Saguaro was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in seven consecutive matchups.

Saguaro now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Marcos de Niza, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season.
