Softball Recap: Liberty Magnet Patriots vs. Northeast Vikings
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against University Lab, Liberty Magnet was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Northeast Vikings an 18-0 shutout. The Patriots have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Vikings, too.
J'Niya Graham made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out nine batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-low in earned runs (zero). She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing four bases while getting on base in both of her plate appearances.
