Volleyball Recap: Fishers Falls Short of Carmel in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Fishers can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Carmel Greyhounds on Saturday. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Greyhounds: they've now lost four in a row.

Alana Kay paced Fishers' offense, picking up nine kills. Kay got some help from Ava Tester and her 15 assists. Finally, Milana Mays kept Fishers' defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Fishers' defeat dropped their record down to 17-16. As for Carmel, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-13 record this season.

Fishers does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Carmel, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Westfield on the 18th.
