            Baseball Recap: Quabbin Regional Panthers vs. Tyngsborough Tigers        
        
		
        
        
            While Quabbin Regional's  victory against Tyngsborough wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Panthers' pitcher stepped up to hand the Tigers  a   1-0 shutout  on Wednesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  10-0  back in April.

Not much got past  Adam Adams, who gave up just  three  hits and racked up ten Ks to keep Tyngsborough off the board. Adams also  tossed a  walk, which is notable because Quabbin Regional is 3-1 when he allows at  most  one  walk, but 4-7 otherwise.
 At the plate, Quabbin Regional's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  Andrew Warfield, who  went 1-for-2 with one  stolen base.
Quabbin Regional's victory bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Tyngsborough, they dropped their record down to 0-12 with the  loss, which was their tenth straight  at home dating back to last season.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Quabbin Regional will venture away from home to  square off against Narragansett Regional  at 3:30  p.m.  on Monday. As for Tyngsborough, they will head out to  face off against Groton-Dunstable  at 3:30  p.m.  on Friday.
