Softball Recap: Bishop McLaughlin Catholic Takes a Loss

Bishop McLaughlin Catholic lost against Fivay back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Hurricanes came up short against the Falcons, falling 23-7. The Hurricanes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bishop McLaughlin Catholic saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Catherine Bell, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Bell is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played.

Bishop McLaughlin Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Fivay, their record now sits at 6-11.

Coming up, Bishop McLaughlin Catholic will be playing in front of their home fans against Hernando Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fivay, they will head out on the road to square off against Pasco at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
