Volleyball Game Preview: Hatley Tigers vs. Smithville Seminoles

The Hatley Tigers will take on the Smithville Seminoles at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

It was a proper cat-fight when Hatley challenged Hamilton on Friday. The Tigers walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Lions. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won four in a row.

Hatley never let Hamilton on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Smithville beat Wheeler 2-0 on Saturday.

Smithville easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-10.

Smithville's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Hatley, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Hatley came out on top in a nail-biter against Smithville in their previous matchup on Friday, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
