Apex Friendship is a perfect 10-0 against Cary since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Patriots will host the Imps at 4:30 p.m. The timing is sure in Apex Friendship's favor as the team sits on seven straight wins at home while Cary has been banged up by seven consecutive losses on the road.

Apex Friendship came out on top against Panther Creek on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run third inning. The Patriots took their contest against the Catamounts 9-4. The victory continues a trend for the Patriots in their matchups with the Catamounts: they've now won four in a row.

Apex Friendship let India Matute and Cheyenne Christman run wild. Matute went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double, while Christman went 3-for-4 with four RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most stolen bases Matute has posted since back in February. Riley Weaver was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two RBI.

Meanwhile, Cary came up short against Holly Springs on Friday, falling 19-3.

Catherine Baker made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Hailey Hackett, who got on base in both of her plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Cary's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Apex Friendship, their win bumped their record up to 14-3.

Apex Friendship took their victory against Cary when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 15-0 score. Will the Patriots repeat their success, or do the Imps have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
