Football Recap: Long Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ariton, Long was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Abbeville Yellowjackets by a score of 24-14. For the Rebels, this counts as revenge for the 50-27 victory the Yellowjackets walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

The win got Long back to even at 3-3. As for Abbeville, they dropped their record down to 2-5 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.
