TCAF District 1 (6 Man) recap November 13, 2013
Lucas Christian Academy added to the longest winning streak in TCAF District 1 (6 Man) this week by beating Faustina Academy, 54-30. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
Lucas Christian Academy took down the Falcons 54-30 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Westlake Academy's Nick McCune and Aaron Pinto have proven to be a lethal combination. McCune has thrown for 3,181 yards this season, while Pinto has 41 catches for 775 yards. Sam McClellan from Leroy Willis' team leads the league in rushing with 942 yards.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Wylie Prep Academy takes on second place Lucas Christian Academy. Wylie Prep Academy topped High Point Prep Academy last week, while the Warriors defeated Faustina Academy.
Lucas Christian Academy's McClellan needs only 58 yards against the Patriots next week to surpass 1,000 rushing yards for the season. McClellan has rushed for 942 yards on 68 carries so far this year.
Wylie Prep Academy and the Eagles played the closest game in TCAF District 1 (6 Man) this week, with Wylie Prep Academy eventually emerging with a 54-48 victory.
