Softball Recap: North Lakes Academy Takes a Loss

North Lakes Academy couldn't beat Roosevelt on Saturday even though they stacked seven runs on them in the first inning. The Huskies fell just short of the Teddies by a score of 12-11. While the Huskies didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Teddies 7-1 in the first period.

North Lakes Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Roosevelt, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-11.

North Lakes Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Roosevelt, they will head out to take on Como Park at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Cougars have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.7 runs per game on average), something the Teddies will no doubt try to take advantage of.
