Basketball Game Preview: Eldorado Eagles vs. Carmi-White County Bulldogs

The Eldorado Eagles will square off against the Carmi-White County Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Eldorado has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since January 20.

Last Friday, Eldorado came up short against Fairfield and fell 61-54.

The losing side was boosted by Jake Phelps, who went 7 of 11 en route to 21 points. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in field goal percentage (64%). Drayson Grathler was another key player, putting up ten points.

Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Carmi-White County ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They pulled ahead with a 34-33 photo finish over Flora.

Carmi-White County has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 10-13 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.5 points over those games. As for Eldorado, their loss dropped their record down to 5-19.
