They hit Ponchatoula with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Holger Padilla-Aviles (3), Bryce Bordes (2), Liam Dannels- Smith (2), and Marc Jones.

Meanwhile, Slidell fell victim to Fontainebleau and their airtight defense on Saturday. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 6-0. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now lost four in a row.

St. Paul's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-6-3. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three contests. As for Slidell, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-15-2.

St. Paul's took their win against Slidell in their previous matchup back in January of 2024 by a conclusive 8-0. Will St. Paul's repeat their success, or does Slidell have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
