Soccer Recap: Madeira Takes a Loss

Madeira was the 1-0 winner over Taylor when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The MUSTANGS/AMAZONS fell just short of the Yellowjackets by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday.

Madeira's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1-2 and their overall record down to 9-4-3. As for Taylor, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5-1 record this season.

Madeira will venture away from home to challenge Mariemont at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mariemont's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Madeira's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Taylor, they will welcome Purcell Marian at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
