York Institute came out on top against Wartburg Central on Friday thanks in part to Garrison Garrett's efforts. Garrett got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. The performance marked the most runs he has had since back in April of 2024.

Garrett and York Institute will take on Watertown at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Dragons haven't beaten the Purple Tigers recently, having gone 0-10 since May of 2018.
