Volleyball Recap: Mater Bay Academy Takes a Loss

Mater Bay Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Colonial Christian Patriots. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rays of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Mater Bay Academy may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 20 points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-20, 25-20.

Mater Bay Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Colonial Christian, their win bumped their record up to 3-6.

Mater Bay Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Cushman on the 30th. As for Colonial Christian, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Redland Christian Academy on the 30th.
