Basketball Game Preview: Ridgeview Panthers vs. Temple Christian Academy Soldiers + How To Watch

The Ridgeview Panthers will head out to challenge the Temple Christian Academy Soldiers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

As a matter of fact, Ridgeview put up the most points they have all season on Saturday. They blew past Old Plank Christian Academy 65-32. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Defenders recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Ridgeview's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Justyn Cappas, who went 5-for-9 en route to 13 points and seven rebounds. Thanks to that strong game, Cappas now owns an excellent 46.5% shooting accuracy. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Stechschulte, who shot 75% from the field to rack up 14 points.

Ridgeview smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 23 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in three consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Temple Christian Academy took their contest last Thursday with ease, bagging a 74-24 victory over Cedar Creek Christian.

The win got Ridgeview back to even at 2-2. As for Temple Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
