Volleyball Recap: Mohonasen Takes a Loss

Mohonasen entered their matchup against Troy on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Warriors took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Flying Horses. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Flying Horses apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Mohonasen's offense was headlined by Allyson Reynolds and Abby Quenneville, who picked up nine kills apiece. They got some help from Sadie Perretta and her 29 assists. Quenneville also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Isabella Burgess, each putting up two.

Mohonasen's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 7-4. As for Troy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-1.

Mohonasen has already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against Mayfield on the 4th. As for Troy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Ballston Spa on the 1st.
