After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wheeling Park, John Marshall was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They took down the Weir Red Riders 78-64. This was a revenge game for the Monarchs: when they faced off against the Red Riders back in December of 2024, they had to take a 70-45 defeat.

John Marshall's victory bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Weir, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.

Looking ahead, John Marshall will take on Fort Frye at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Weir, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against North Marion at 5:15 p.m. on Saturday.
