Baseball Recap: Harding University Comes Up Short

Harding University was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 17-1 to the Berry Cardinals. If the Rams were looking for revenge after losing 24-10 to the Cardinals when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Harding University's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Berry, their record is now 5-10.

Coming up, Harding University will face off against Mallard Creek at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Rams' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mavericks have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season. As for Berry, they will challenge Chambers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Cougars have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.89 runs per game on average), something the Cardinals will no doubt try to take advantage of.
