Volleyball Recap: Monday's Victory Is Streamwood's 15th in Last 19 Outings

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Streamwood had no problem doing just that on Monday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Freeport Pretzels.

Leading Streamwood to victory were Heewon Yang and John Garcia. Yang had eight digs and two aces, while Garcia had 20 assists and eight digs. That's the most aces Yang has posted since back in April.

Streamwood has been performing well recently as they've won 15 of their last 19 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-10 record this season. As for Freeport, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-19.

Coming up, Streamwood will take on Boylan Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Freeport does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
