Volleyball Recap: Three Straight Road Victories for Willow Canyon

Willow Canyon's tournament run continued when they took on Skyline on Saturday. The Wildcats came out on top against the Coyotes by a score of 2-0.

While Willow Canyon won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-8.

Emory Scogin went supernova, getting 16 digs and three aces. What's more, she posted four assists, the most she's had over her last seven matches.

Scogin wasn't the only good server: Willow Canyon was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. The Wildcats are a perfect 5-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

Willow Canyon pushed their record up to 9-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Skyline, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Coincidentally, Willow Canyon and Skyline will both be playing Chandler the next time they take the court. The Coyotes will host the Wolves at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Wildcats will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
