Hawthorne Math & Science Academy extended their losing streak to five on Thursday, dropping them down to 0-5. The game between the Aviators and the Vistamar Vikings didn't end well, with the Aviators falling 69-53. On the bright side, the 53- point effort marked the Aviators' highest-scoring contest to date.

As for Vistamar, they now have a winning record of 4-3. The victory continues a trend for them in their matchups with Hawthorne Math & Science Academy: they've now won three in a row.

Landon McMorris was his usual excellent self, putting up 40 points and seven rebounds. That makes it seven consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Vistamar's points. Marquis Ramirez was another key player, posting ten points and eight boards.
