Volleyball Game Preview: Naperville North Huskies vs. Naperville Central Redhawks

Naperville North is preparing for their first conference matchup of the season on Thursday. They will be playing at home against the Naperville Central Redhawks at 5:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

Last Tuesday, Naperville North didn't have quite enough to beat Benet Academy and fell 2-1.

Naperville North started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-16, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Naperville Central came up short against St. Charles East on Saturday and fell 2-0.

Naperville Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Naperville North, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Naperville North was able to grind out a solid win over Naperville Central when the teams last played back in May of 2024, winning 2-0. Will the Huskies repeat their success, or do the Redhawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
