Softball Recap: Longview Comes Up Short

After flying high against Tyler Legacy last Tuesday, Longview came back down to earth. The Lobos came up short against the Rockwall-Heath Hawks on Friday, falling 10-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-3 back in March.

Longview has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-13 record this season. As for Rockwall-Heath, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-14.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Longview is set to square off against their familiar foe North Forney at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Rockwall-Heath will challenge rival Rockwall at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
