Basketball Game Preview: Clarke County Eagles vs. Page County Panthers

Having just played yesterday, the Clarke County Eagles will get right back to it and host the Page County Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Clarke County knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Page County likes a good challenge.

Clarke County is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their match on Monday with ease, bagging an 84-21 victory over Stonewall Jackson. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 23 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Page County had to suffer through a 62-30 loss at the hands of Central Woodstock. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Clarke County is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 42 points. As for Page County, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-13.

Everything came up roses for Clarke County against Page County in their previous matchup on Thursday, as the team secured an 83-23 win. Will Clarke County repeat their success, or does Page County have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
