Softball Recap: Milton Eagles vs. Mill Creek Hawks
If Milton was riding high fresh off their 14-0 takedown of Cherokee last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Milton Eagles fell just short of the Mill Creek Hawks by a score of 14-12 on Thursday. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hawks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2021.
Allison Oneacre led a balanced group of hitters, scoring three runs while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Carson McElroy, who scored three runs while going 3-for-5.
Milton's defeat dropped their record down to 19-9. As for Mill Creek, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-7.
As of now, neither Milton nor Mill Creek have any future games scheduled.
