Preview: North Monterey County vs. Watsonville
On Thursday, Watsonville are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against North Monterey County at 6:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
Watsonville couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a 6-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of San Lorenzo Valley.
Meanwhile, North Monterey County had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. Last Thursday, they lost to North Salinas by a decisive 16-34 margin. North Monterey County were down by 6-34 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
