Volleyball Recap: Oxnard Triumphs

Oxnard picked up another tournament win on Friday. They came out on top against the Fillmore Flashes by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Yellowjackets.

Oxnard can attribute much of their success to Xander Young, who had ten digs and one assist. Those ten digs gave Young a new career-high.

Oxnard's win bumped their record up to 12-13. As for Fillmore, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-18.

Oxnard didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Foothill Tech on the 18th. As for Fillmore, they will venture away from home to take on Carpinteria at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
