Volleyball Recap: Carlisle County Takes a Loss

Carlisle County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Madisonville-North Hopkins Maroons. If the Comets were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Maroons when the teams met back in September of 2015, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Carlisle County's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Madisonville-North Hopkins, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-12.

Looking ahead, Carlisle County will look to defend their home court on Monday against Ballard Memorial at 7:00 p.m. As for Madisonville-North Hopkins, they will head out on the road to take on Hopkins County Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
