Meanwhile, Chapel Hill came tearing into Friday's matchup with 25 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 35.4 points) and they left with even more momentum. They breezed by Winnsboro at home to the tune of 64-33. Chapel Hill has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 21 matches by 20 points or more this season.
Braden Buchanan continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 13 rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jaydyn Haley, who scored seven points along with nine assists and seven rebounds.
Mineola's loss dropped their record down to 14-12. As for Chapel Hill, they pushed their record up to 29-1 with that win, which was their 13th straight at home.
